A deeper issue than lead generation


Your customer acquisition / lead generation is not failing because your work isn't good enough, or because you don't have enough leads.

While lead generation could be an issue, it has more to do with how you qualify and process your leads.

Most often, it is rooted deep in your setup from the get-go. Defining who your ideal customer is, which deals to take on, which deals to say No to, how you approach your sales process, how you price, how you claim your price, how your customers agree to happily pay.

Those (seemingly) tiny decisions add-up.

Price doesn't have to make sense for you AND your customers. It has to make sense to them.

More words, more convincing, more self-investment in the sale, more excitement, more proof, more references, more... noise. Just because you use more words and make things more complex, what really happens in the head of your customer is that they get overloaded with information. When they're at this stage, all they have is "too much to figure it out", and it automatically translates into "more risk". When things feel risky —unless you're an adrenaline junkie—you'll default to the way things...
